Rishi Kamlesh Agrawal has been arrested on charges of duping a consortium of 28 banks of Rs 22,842 crores of bank fraud, CBI sources said.
The CBI had booked ABG Shipyard Ltd and its then chairman and managing director Rishi Kamlesh Agarwal along with others for allegedly cheating a consortium of banks of over Rs 22,842 crore.
The CBI, which had recently issued lookout circular (LOC) against him and eight others connected to the case, had recently revealed that there were around 100 high-value bank fraud cases.
