The flag-hoisting incident comes in the wake of the Supreme Court's decision to deny interim bail to Arvind Kejriwal. The Delhi CM is currently facing allegations in a corruption case related to an excise policy scam, which was filed by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).
The CBI and ED have alleged that irregularities occurred during the modification of the excise policy, with undue favours being extended to license holders. This alleged misconduct is central to the ongoing investigation in the money laundering case involving Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal and others.
