Sisodia, who is also Delhi's Education Minister, said the data collected in the survey will not be "reliable" as schools have not completely opened after a prolonged closure due to COVID-19
The Education Ministry statement said that NAS 2021 will cover the entire spectrum of schools, i.e. Government schools (Central Government and State Government), Government-Aided schools and Private schools across the country
"CBSE will use advanced data analytics to detect, respond and therefore, in the long run, prevent any irregularities in academic testing across all major CBSE administered exams in the country," the release mentioned
The term 1 exam for class 12 will commence from November 16, while for class 10, the term 1 exam is scheduled to begin from November 17. Download hall ticket at cbse.gov.in
According to CBSE, students will inform to the school through mail about change of exam city on November 10, and schools will upload a list of requests received on CBSE website- cbse.gov.in on November 12

Issuing a fresh notification, the CBSE said that it is offering around 114 subjects in Class XII and 75 subjects in Class X. The CBSE further added it would conduct exams of various subjects by fixing date sheet across all affiliated schools in India and abroad.

CBSE clarified that all regional languages have been kept in the category of minor subjects for first term exams for classes 10 and 12.
CBSE clarified that "Punjabi is one of the regional languages being offered. All the regional languages have been put under minor category for the purpose of administrative convenience in relation to the logistics required for the conduct of examinations."
The class 10th list had Punjabi as one of the minor subjects apart from some other regional languages.
The first-term board examinations for class 10 will begin from November 30, while the exams for class 12 is scheduled from December 1.
"The idea of 90-minute tests in the first term board exams is excellent as during the times of lockdown, the mode of teaching, learning and grasping has undergone a massive change," said Pallavi Upadhyaya, Principal, DPS-RNE Ghaziabad
CBSE examination controller Sanyam Bhardwaj believes that conducting board exams in two parts will reduce the level of stress in students.
The candidates who wish to change their city or make corrections in the online application can do so from October 28 to November 3
The candidates can now apply till Monday (October 25) and can submit their application fees upto October 26. Apply at ctet.nic.in
The class 12 exam will commence with sociology on December 1, and will conclude with home science on December 22. The entire schedule is available at the website- cbse.gov.in
