Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched a scathing attack on the opposition parties on Friday saying that those opposing Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) and Uniform Civil Code (UCC) and talk about 'vote jihad' will be defeated on June 4. He went on and said that on June 4, the supporters of Article 370, triple talaq, appeasement and corruption will be defeated.
Prime Minister was addressing a rally in Hyderabad, Telangana, where polling is slated on May 13. PM said Telangana has already decided that BJP will come and subsequently the results in state will fill enthusiasm in the entire country. He further added that parties indulged in corruption, crushing youth’s apriration, and killing the dream of the middle class can never build the future of India.
He asserted that India is now solving its decade old problems. As a result "today, India is a digital power, fintech power and world's fifth largest economy." Attacking the Congress party he said that the garnd old party's track record is "loot, appeasement and dynasty first."
PM recalls harrows of Dilsukh serial blast
Reminding the Dilsukh serial blasts of 2013, he urged the families of first time voters to sit with them and discuss about decade-ago situations, emphasising that news of bomb blasts were common during Congress rule. He affirmed that things changed after his government was formed at the centre. Targeting I.N.D.I.A bloc, PM said that they want that era of violence back.
The Prime Minister targeted the Congress party over its wealth redistribution and said, “they are openly announcing an X-Ray of the income of the middle class and redistributing it to their vote bank.”
He also lamented Sam Pitroda saying that the master of ‘Shahzada’ (Rahul Gandhi) is calling the people of India Africans and Chinese. Congress is of the divisive mindset and does not consider India as one nation, said PM Modi.
PM targets appeasement politics of opposition
PM Modi said that in Hyderabad, AIMIM has been given a free hand out of appeasement politics and neither the Congress nor BRS want to celebrate Hyderabad Liberation Day. He reiterated his government's decison of celebrating September 17 as Hyderabad Liberation Day every year. Notably, the central government announced September 17, the day on which the princely State of Hyderabad merged into the Indian Union in 1948, as 'Hyderabad Liberation Day'.
Meanwhile, he also accused the Congress of ending the BC (Backward Caste) quota and givcing reservation to Muslims on religious basis. PM Modi asked the people to ensure victory of BJP not only on Lok Sabah seats but at every polling booth.
