Xiaomi has recently unleashed a new launch smartphone named ‘Xiaomi 14 Civi’ in the Indian market. The device was originally launched in the Chinese market by the name ‘Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro’, and has been rebranded for the Indian market. The 14 Civi will be available in three vibrant colour variants - Matcha Green, Cruise Blue, and Shadow Black. The device comes with a sleek design and premium build quality are it further aims at performance and style.
Specifications
The new 14 Civi smartphone comes with a 6.55-inch AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution, with a peak brightness of up to 3,000 nits, to deliver vivid colours and clarity even under bright and direct sunlight. The display is further protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2, which is known for its toughness against drops and scratches.
Furthermore, it supports advanced visual technologies like HDR10+, Dolby Vision and a palette of 68 billion colours, making it ideal for advanced gaming and binge-watching.
Powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor, the new Civi provides robust performance for all multitasking needs. The smartphone will be available in two variants-
- 8GB RAM with 256GB of internal storage.
- 12GB RAM with up to 512GB of storage.
The device runs on Xiaomi’s new HyperOS, which is based on the Android 14 operating system, which promises a smooth and efficient user experience.
Camera details
For photography enthusiasts, the Xiaomi 14 Civi comes with a triple camera setup on the rear side- 50MP main wide-angle lens, a 50MP 2x telephoto lens and a 12MP ultra-wide lens.
On the front, the device comes with dual 32MP front cameras- which is rare in today’s time, and it is capable of recording 4K quality videos as well. This setup ensures HD images and videos in various lighting conditions, claims the company.
On the battery front, the smartphone is backed by a 4,700mAh battery, which further supports 67W fast charging. It allows the users to top up their devices and stay connected throughout the day.
The smartphone also includes an in-display fingerprint sensor for security concerns along with the convenient unlocking.
Connectivity
14 Civi further supports a range of connectivity options like a 5G, LTE connectivity, dual-band Wi-Fi, NFC- ensuring fast and reliable connections.
These features further make the device versatile and future-proof, accommodating the needs of modern users.
Pricing and availability
The Xiaomi 14 Civi has been launched in the mid-budget segment. The 8GB RAM + 256GB variant is available for Rs 42,999, and the 12GB RAM + 512GB model is priced at Rs 47,999.
Additional discount could be redeemed by availing an instant discount of up to Rs 3,000. The device will be available for purchase from June 20 at noon onwards, on Flipkart, Xiaomi’s official online and other offline stores.
