Delhi Metro passengers can now book their tickets through WhatsApp, offering respite from the long queues, especially during the festive season. This will help a lot of people in travelling during the festive season when the traffic is at peak. 

Collaboration with Meta and Pelocal Fintech

The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has partnered with Meta and its authorized partner, Pelocal Fintech Pvt. Ltd., to provide this convenient service.

Seamless booking in multiple languages

WhatsApp users can book metro tickets in both Hindi and English languages through the WhatsApp chatbot.

Booking process

1. Initiate a chat with the number 9650855800 on WhatsApp by sending "Hi."
2. Select your preferred language.
3. Choose "Buy Ticket" from the menu.
4. Specify the departure and destination stations.
5. Indicate the number of tickets needed.
6. Proceed to the payment details and select your preferred payment method.
7. Complete the transaction using options like credit cards, debit cards, UPI, or Paytm.

This service allows users to book tickets for all Delhi NCR metro lines as well as the Gurugram Rapid Metro.
