Vivo launches its most expensive smartphone in India: Check out its price, specifications here

This smartphone is the first foldable smartphone from Vivo in India. The device features Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, Zeiss-branded triple rear cameras, 8.03-inch AMOLED inner screen and more.

Vivo has launched a new clamshell smartphone in India. The newly launched Vivo X Fold 3 Pro is the first foldable smartphone from the company to launch in the country. Although Vivo boasts multiple foldable-screen phones in its lineup, these smartphones are mostly confined to the Chinese market only. The newly launched Vivo X Fold 3 Pro in India is already available for sale in China. Some of the highlights of the smartphone include the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, Zeiss-branded triple rear cameras, 8.03-inch AMOLED inner screen and more. 

Vivo X Fold 3 Pro India price and availability

The Vivo X Fold 3 is offered in Celestial Black colour option. It is available in a single 16GB RAM + 512GB storage variant for Rs 1,59,999. The smartphone is currently available for pre-booking via the Vivo India website, Amazon, and Flipkart. It will go on sale from June 13. 

Vivo is offering introductory deals including up to Rs 15,000 bank offers for payments made using HDFC and SBI cards. In addition to this, Interested buyers can avail up to Rs. 10,000 exchange bonus and a one-time free screen replacement. 

There are also up to 24 months of no-cost EMI options, with EMI starting at Rs 6,666 per month. Vivo's Wireless Charger 2.0, valued at Rs 5,999, will be available from June 17 through the Vivo E-store and offline channels.

Vivo X Fold 3 Pro specifications 

The Vivo X Fold 3 Pro is powered by octa-core Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC coupled with 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB of UFS4.0 storage. It runs on Android 14 with Funtouch OS 14 on top. 

The smartphone comes with an 8.03-inch primary 2K (2,200x2,480 pixels) resolution E7 AMOLED display featuring 4,500 nits peak brightness, Dolby Vision support, and HDR10 support. Additionally, it has a 6.53-inch (1,172x2,748 pixels) AMOLED cover display. Both screens support a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. The main screen and cover screen have 91.77 percent and 90.92 percent screen-to-body ratios, respectively.

The smartphone is equipped with a Carbon fiber hinge that is designed to endure 100 folds a day for over 12 years. The front is made of glass while the back is made of glass fiber, and the middle portion is constructed using Aluminum alloy material.

The Vivo X Fold 3 Pro comes with a Zeiss-backed triple rear camera setup. It includes a 50-megapixel main camera with an f/1.68 lens and OIS support, a 64-megapixel telephoto sensor with 3x zoom, and a 50-megapixel ultra-wide sensor. Both the cover screen and main screen feature 32-megapixel selfie cameras with an f/2.4 aperture. Additionally, the phone is equipped with Vivo's V3 imaging chip.

The newly launched smartphone offers a wide range of connectivity options, including 5G, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, GPS, BeiDou, GLONASS, Galileo, QZSS, NavIC, A-GPS, OTG, and a USB Type-C port. In addition, it features an array of sensors such as an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, flicker sensor, proximity sensor, gyro, electronic compass, color temperature sensor, laser focus sensor, air pressure sensor, multispectral sensor, and infrared blaster. The phone also includes a fingerprint sensor for secure authentication and has an IPX8 rating for dust and water resistance.

The Vivo X Fold 3 Pro is equipped with a 5,700mAh lithium battery and supports 100W wired and 50W wireless charging. When unfolded, it measures 159.96 x 142.4 x 5.2mm and weighs 236 grams.
