Vivo X Fold 3 Pro India launch date leaked: Here's when foldable smartphone will arrive

Vivo has accidentally revealed the launch date of the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro. This phone is expected to be equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor and AI features. It will be Vivo's first foldable smartphone to be launched globally outside of China.

Vivo accidentally revealed the launch date of the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro. Vivo India confirmed the launch date on the microsite created for the phone and also listed the foldable smartphone on the e-commerce website Flipkart. The phone was initially launched in the Chinese market in March this year and is expected to have similar features in the Indian variant, including the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor and a camera setup with Zeiss branding.

The dedicated microsite for the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro revealed that the phone will be launched in India on June 6. However, the company has not officially announced the launch date yet.

The microsite also mentioned that the phone will feature a carbon fiber hinge, allowing the device to be folded 500,000 times, and will include the Google Gemini AI feature. Additionally, the phone is expected to come with AI Note Assist, AI Transcript Assist, and AI Screen Translation. It will have a thickness of 11.2mm and weigh 236 grams.

The Vivo X Fold 3 Pro is Vivo's first foldable smartphone to be launched in the global market outside China. In China, the phone was launched at an initial price of CNY 9,999 (about Rs 1.16 lakh). It will feature an 8.03-inch primary 2K AMOLED foldable display and a 6.53-inch AMOLED cover display. The smartphone will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor and may include the Vivo V3 imaging chip and carbon fiber hinge. The back of the phone will house a 50MP main camera and a 32MP selfie camera. It is expected to come with a 5,700mAh battery and support 100W wired and 50W wireless fast charging.

Meanwhile, Vivo has launched a new smartphone in India. The newly launched Vivo Y21s Pro is a new addition to the company's Y series in the country, which also includes Vivo Y21s and Y21e smartphones. Some of the highlights of the newly launched smartphone include a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 chipset, a 5,000mAh battery with support for wired fast charging, a 3D curved display, a 64-megapixel dual rear camera unit, and more.
