Realme Pad 3 allegedly spotted on IMEI website: All you need to know

Realme is said to be working on introducing a new laptop in the Indian market by launching a new Pad 3, which was spotted on the IMEI website. The upcoming tablet is expected to come with longer battery life and stronger software.

Realme is expected to launch a new tablet which is rumoured to be gearing up for the launch of Pad 3 in the Indian market. The upcoming tablet has reportedly surfaced on the IMEI database, which has hinted at an imminent release, although the official launch date has remained undisclosed it is expected that the company might launch the device anything in this month itself. 

Realme launched the first Pad in 2021. As per the IMEI database leak and as per the GizmoChina report, The new tablet with the model number RMP2402 has been listed in the IMEI database, which will spark speculation that the upcoming tablet could be the Realme Pad 3 (following the name trend). Although the listing does not give any specific insight into the device, it does suggest that the new tablet will include SIM card support, which will certainly enhance Android connectivity.

Anticipated Upgrades and Features

The Realme Pad 3 is expected to bring significant upgrades over its predecessor, the Realme Pad 2, which launched in July 2023. The Realme Pad 2 features a robust MediaTek Helio G99 SoC and an impressive 8,360mAh battery. Given the trend, the Realme Pad 3 could offer even better performance and battery life.

Realme’s current portfolio includes 5 tablets so far:

  • Realme Pad X

The first Realme Pad which was launched in September 2021 was made available at a starting price of Rs 17,999. 

The Pad 2 debuted at Rs 19,999 for the base model (6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant), setting a new standard for Realme’s tablets.

Realme Pad 2: Specifications

The Realme Pad 2 features an 11.5-inch display with a 2K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The tablet was powered by the MediaTek Helio G99 chip and has been paired with up to 8GB RAM and 256GB of storage. The tablet further supports Virtual RAM, enabling the users to expand it by up to 16GB.

Talking about terms of audio and optics, the Pad 2 comes with dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos technology, a 5-megapixel front camera for video calls and selfies (at times), and an 8-megapixel rear shooter. 

The tablet is backed by an 8,360 mAh battery which could deliver up to 17 hours of video playback and up to 190 hours of music playback on a single charge. It will further support 33W fast charging capabilities.

What to expect from Realme Pad 3?

Although the details about the upcoming (expected to be named) Realme Pad 3 are under the hood, as it appears on the IMEI database, it is suggested that the company is working on introducing its latest tablet in the Indian market soon.
