Poco has launched a new smartphone in India. The newly launched Poco F6 5G is a new addition to the company’s F series in the country. It will succeed the Poco F5 5G smartphone, which was launched in May last year. The new Poco F6 comes with many impressive features such as Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC, OLED display, dual rear camera setup, 5,000mAh battery with support for 90W wired fast charging, and more. Poco F6 India price and availability
The Poco F6 5G smartphone will be available in Black and Titanium colours. It will be available in three different RAM and storage variants. The base 8GB RAM + 256GB storage variant is priced at Rs 29,999 while the mid-specs 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant is priced at 31,999. The higher-specs 12GB + 512GB variant is priced at Rs 33,999. The smartphone will be available for sale via Flipkart starting May 29.
Interested buyers can take advantage of bank offers and exchange discounts on the Poco F3 5G. With these deals, the smartphone will be available for a starting price of Rs. 25,999. The 12GB + 256GB and 12GB + 512GB RAM and storage versions can be purchased for Rs. 27,999 and Rs. 29,999, respectively.
Poco F6 specifications
The Poco F6 5G smartphone is powered by an octa-core 4nm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset coupled with up to 12GB of LPPDDR5x RAM and 512 UFS 4.0 storage. The smartphone runs Android 14-based HyperOS.
It features a 6.67-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with up to 120Hz refresh rate, 1,220x2,712 pixels resolution, 2,400 nits peak brightness, and has Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection.
On the camera front, it gets dual rear camera led by a 50-megapixel sensor with support for optical image stabilisation (OIS) and electronic image stabilisation (EIS). It also includes an 8-megapixel ultra-wide angle camera. There is a 20-megapixel front camera for selfies and video calls.
It packs a 5,000mAh battery in the Poco F6 5G with support for 90W fast charging. The device gets Poco's Iceloop cooling technology for thermal management. For connectivity, it includes 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS/AGPS, Galileo, GLONASS, Beidou, and a USB Type-C port. Sensors on board include an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, e-compass, gyroscope, IR blaster, and proximity sensor.
Poco F6 5G features hybrid dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support and Hi-Res certification. It is built with an IP64-rated dust and splash-resistant design. Additionally, it includes an in-display fingerprint sensor for authentication and supports face unlock.
