Meanwhile, PhonePe recently launched its UPI services in Sri Lanka. The company, based in Bengaluru, has partnered with LankaPay to enable PhonePe UPI payments in the country. This move will allow Indian travellers to make UPI payments in Sri Lanka using the PhonePe app. To do so, they simply need to scan the LankaQR code to make the payment.
In Sri Lanka, Indian travellers will be able to make payments through the PhonePe app using the LankaPay National Payment Network.
