Oppo is preparing to launch the Reno 12 series in the Indian market. The series consists of two smartphones: the Oppo Reno 12 and Reno 12 Pro. These mid-budget smartphones will come with AI features and will be available for purchase on the e-commerce website Flipkart. The company has confirmed the upcoming launch of this series in India.
Oppo has created a dedicated webpage for its upcoming smartphone series, indicating that both phones will be launched in India shortly. Both phones will feature AI-based camera functionalities such as AI Best Face, AI Eraser 2.0, AI Studio, and AI Clear Voice. Additionally, the series will support Google Gemini-based AI Summary, AI Record Summary, AI Clear Voice, AI Writer, and AI Speak features.
Oppo Reno 12 Series specifications (Expected)
Expected features of the Oppo Reno 12 Series include a curved AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The base model will be equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 8250 Star Speed Edition processor, while the Pro model will have the MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ Star Speed Edition processor.
Both phones in the Reno 12 series will feature a 50MP and 8MP dual-camera setup, as well as a 50MP selfie camera. The series will also support a 5000mAh battery and 80W SuperVOOC fast charging. The smartphones will run on ColorOS based on Android 14.
The global version of the Reno 12 will feature a 6.7-inch display with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 for protection. It will offer 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage and will be available in Ebony Black, Millennium Silver, and Soft Peach colour options. Additionally, the phone will have an IP65 rating, providing water and dust protection.
Meanwhile, Vivo has introduced a new smartphone in India. The newly released Vivo T3 Lite is the latest addition to the Vivo T series lineup in India. Earlier this year, Vivo launched two other smartphones in its T series, namely Vivo T3 and Vivo T3x. The new smartphone seems to be a rebranded version of the Vivo Y28s 5G, which is currently featured on the company’s global website. Some of the main features of the smartphone include an IP64-rated build, a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, and more.
