OnePlus is all set to launch a new smartphone in India. The smartphone comes after the launch of OnePlus Nord CE 4 in India and will also join the company’s Nord lineup in the country. The upcoming OnePlus Nord CE 4 Lite 5G is confirmed to get a dual camera system at the rear with a 50-megapixel primary sensor. The company also revealed the design of the OnePlus Nord CE 4 Lite and confirmed some of its key specifications. Here are all the details you need to know.
OnePlus Nord CE 4 Lite India launch
The official OnePlus account teased the launch of the OnePlus Nord CE 4 Lite 5G on X (formerly Twitter). The launch in India is set for June 24 at 7PM IST, and the company shared a glimpse of a “Mega Blue” colour variant of the handset.
A microsite for the OnePlus Nord CE 4 Lite 5G launch is already live on Amazon, confirming a key specification – its camera. According to the page, the smartphone will feature a dual camera system with a 50-megapixel Sony primary camera with optical image stabilisation (OIS).
OnePlus Nord CE 4 Lite 5G specifications (expected)
The upcoming OnePlus Nord CE 4 Lite 5G, as confirmed by OnePlus President Kinder Liu in a conversation with Tom's Guide, will have a 5,110mAh battery with 80W SuperVOOC charging. This is a slight improvement from the 5,000mAh battery in the previous OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite.
Additionally, it will support 5W reverse wireless charging, allowing users to charge devices like TWS earbuds and smartwatches. The phone will feature a 120Hz OLED display with 2,100 nits of peak brightness, providing a bright and smooth viewing experience even outdoors. The display will also incorporate Aqua Touch technology, similar to the more expensive OnePlus 12.
The camera system will include a 50-megapixel Sony sensor and a new aspherical lens, which according to Liu, offers superior control over aberrations and distortions, as well as a wider field of view.
