OnePlus, one of India's leading smartphone brands, has recently announced an all-new addition to its recently launched device. According to the information, OnePlus 12 will be available in Glacial White. The new variant will officially be made available on June 6. As per the company, it is a ‘limited-edition’ model- hence, it will be available in limited numbers. By the time of writing, the exact memory configuration is yet to be revealed by the company.
In a prepared statement, OnePlus said that the new variant has been designed to “balance the chaos of modern life.” It further stated, “Drawing inspiration from the stunning beauty and resilience of glaciers, it offers the perfect fusion of serenity and power,”
Colour variants
The OnePlus 12 was earlier launched in two colour variants- Flowy Emerald and Silky Black. The newly mentioned Glacial White will be the third variant from the company- although it is certainly not completely brand new as OnePlus sells a white/silver variant in the China market for the OnePlus 12.
Talking about the storage memory, the handset comes in two variants- 12GB RAM with 256GB storage and 16GB RAM with 512GB storage.
The new Glacial White variant for the OnePlus 12 should come in one or both variants, as expected.
OnePlus 12: Specifications
The OnePlus 12 comes with a 6.82-inch 2K LTPO AMOLED display (1440p) with a 120Hz refresh rate. The display could peak at 4,500 nits and comes with an aqua touch. The phone comes with IP65-rated certification, protecting the device from water and dust.
The handset is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor and it is further backed by a 5,400mAh battery with 50W wireless charging support and 100W fast wired.
Talking about the camera, it comes with a triple rear camera setup, with a 50-megapixel main shooter with a Sony LYT-808 sensor, a 48-megapixel secondary shooter with a Sony IMX581 sensor, followed by an ultrawide lens and another 64-megapixel OmniVision OV64B sensor behind a 3x periscope telephoto lens. On the front, it has a 32-megapixel selfie shooter.
Price and availability
The OnePlus 12’s base variant- 12GB RAM/256GB storage is priced at Rs 64,999 and the 16GB RAM/512GB storage variant of the OnePlus 12 is priced at Rs 69,999.
