Nothing, a British consumer electronics manufacturer based in London is set to introduce new colour options for its recently launched Phone (2a) smartphone. The company hinted about the latest variant through a post on X, showcasing two new colour variants of ‘2a’ in different coloured dots. The new teaser suggests that the Nothing Phone (2a) might be available in vibrant red and yellow variants soon.
Availability and pricing
The Nothing Phone (2a) is available on Flipkart, with two storage variants- 128GB storage at a price tag of Rs 23,999 and the 256GB storage variant at Rs 27,999. The price tag has positioned the Phone (2a) as a compelling option in the mid-range smartphone segment, which further offers a blend of performance and features which cater for a wide audience.
Phone 2(a): Specifications
The Nothing Phone (2a) comes with a 6.7-inch AMOLED FHD+ display with a peak brightness of 1,300 nits and it is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5, which ensures durability and vibrant display quality.
The Phone (2a) is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Pro SoC, which promises robust performance. Nothing has also committed to providing three major Android updates and four years of security patches on the device that ensure the device remains up-to-date and secure over time.
Talking about the camera, the device comes with a dual rear camera setup- a 50MP primary shooter with optical image stabilization (OIS) and an f/1.88 aperture, along with another 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens which offers a 114-degree field of view.
For selfies- the device comes with a 32MP front shooter which makes it a good choice for those who enjoy capturing moments on the go.
The smartphone is backed by a 5,000mAh battery which 45W fast charging supports. But this is a must to mention that the device does not come with a charger (packed in the box) and does not support wireless charging as well.
