London-based consumer tech brand Nothing announced that the CMF Phone 1 will be powered by the new MediaTek Dimensity 7300 5G processor. The smartphone, scheduled to launch on July 8, promises to deliver a best-in-segment experience.
"The MediaTek Dimensity 7300 5G processor, with its 8-core architecture and cutting-edge 4nm process from TSMC, makes it one of the fastest and power-efficient smartphones in the segment," the company said.
It was also mentioned that this processor integrates numerous functions into a single compact chip, ensuring both high performance and energy efficiency. The key highlights of the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 SoC in the CMF Phone 1 include superior performance, enhanced efficiency, and advanced technology.
The company aims to make great design accessible to more people with CMF Phone 1 while delivering an uncompromised user experience through a focus on core product functionalities.
In addition to CMF Phone 1, the brand will also launch Watch Pro 2 and Buds Pro 2, further expanding its portfolio of innovative products designed to enhance everyday life.
Meanwhile, CMF's previous teaser was posted on its official social media pages - Instagram and X (formerly known as Twitter). The teaser focused on the display details of Phone 1, comparing them with a traditional LCD panel and highlighting the advantages of AMOLED technology. The video emphasised that the AMOLED technology can deliver deeper blacks and eliminate light bleeding by individually controlling the pixels.
CMF stated that the display will provide up to 2,000nits of peak brightness, ensuring excellent visibility even in bright light conditions.
The expected specifications for the CMF Phone 1 are as follows:
- A 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate.
- A 50-megapixel dual rear camera setup and a 50-megapixel selfie shooter.
CMF will unveil a new feature of the upcoming Phone 1 every day through a 9-day campaign. The event is scheduled for July 8. Additionally, CMF announced a daily giveaway of the Phone 1 leading up to its official release.
