Motorola has confirmed the launch of the new Edge 50 Ultra in the Indian market. The consumer tech brand has confirmed the launch date, that the device will debut on June 18 and it will be available for purchase from Flipkart and other online platforms. The Edge 50 Ultra is already available in the global markets, hence, we already know about the specs and design of the device. Here are the details about the upcoming smartphones.

Display and Performance
The new smartphone from Motorola will feature a 6.7-inch OLED display- supporting a refresh rate of up to 144Hz, for ultra-smooth visuals and a crisp, vibrant viewing experience. It is powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chip, which claims to deliver top-tier performance for everyday tasks.
Battery and charging
Backed by a 4,500mAh battery, the Ultra model will support a lightning-fast 125W wired charging. For wireless charging, it also supports 50W charging capabilities. The IP68 rating for water resistance will further add to its durability, making it resilient against the elements.
Camera
For smartphone photography enthusiasts, the new Edge 50 Ultra will come with a 50-megapixel primary shooter with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) for sharp and clear photos. It is further paired with a 64-megapixel telephoto lens with OIS, to capture distant subjects with clarity.
Furthermore, a 50-megapixel ultrawide lens which functions as a macro lens, enabling the device to capture the wide-angle shots and detailed close-ups.

The smartphone runs on the latest Android 14 OS, and it is equipped with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM, for smooth multitasking capabilities. On the storage front, it comes with the capacity to expand as much as up to 1TB with the 4.0 storage, providing ample space for apps, media and files.

Price and availability
Though the device is scheduled to launch on June 18, but the price is yet to be revealed. But as per the international market and the pricing, we expect that the price for the device will be near about the Edge 50 Pro, which is at Rs 31,999.
The upcoming Ultra device will be a mid-range smartphone with AI capabilities which might escalate the price a little higher, but we cannot commit anything till the time makes any official announcement.
