Moto Buds, Moto Buds Plus launched in India: Check price, specifications, availability

Moto Buds, and Moto Buds Plus are the first earbuds from the company in the country. These earbuds have been tuned and certified by Bose and come with features such as Hi-Res Audio certifications, dynamic active noise cancellation (ANC) support, triple mic systems, and water-repellant designs.

Motorola has launched new earbuds in India. The newly launched Moto Buds and Moto Buds+ are the first earbuds from the company in the country. These earbuds were first unveiled in Europe in April. Some of the highlights of the newly launched earbuds include Hi-Res Audio certifications, dynamic active noise cancellation (ANC) support, triple mic systems, and water-repellant designs. Here are all the details you need to know about the newly launched earbuds. 

Moto Buds, Moto Buds+ India price and availability

The Moto Buds are offered in three colours - Coral Peach, Glacier Blue, and Starlight Blue. The company is also expected to launch them in a fourth Kiwi Green option soon.  These earbuds are priced at Rs 4,999 in India. Interested buyers can avail Rs 1,000 instant discount on ICICI Bank credit card. 

Meanwhile, the Moto Buds+ are offered in Beach Sand and Forest Grey colours. They are available for Rs 9,99. Interested buyers can get a Rs 2,000 instant discount by using ICICI Bank credit card. 

Both the earphones are available for purchase via Flipkart. 

Moto Buds, Moto Buds+ specifications

The Moto Buds and Moto Buds+ are two different earphone models. The Moto Buds have a single 12.4mm dynamic driver, while the Moto Buds+ have dual dynamic drivers that include an 11mm woofer and a 6mm tweeter. The Buds have up to 50dB of active noise cancellation (ANC), while the Moto Buds+ offer up to 46dB of ANC. Both earphones have three preset modes of noise cancellation - Transparency, Adaptive, and Noise Cancellation.

The higher-end Moto Buds+ come with the "Sound by Bose" tag and offers a Dolby Head Tracking feature that adjusts audio based on head movements. They also have Dolby Atmos support and Hi-Res Audio certifications. They feature triple mic systems with integrated environmental noise cancellation (ENC) that are said to improve call clarity.

The Moto Buds and Moto Buds+ earbuds can be used with the Moto Buds app, which enables users to customize touch controls and sound settings with an equalizer. Currently, the app is only available on the Google Play Store for Android devices. The company has announced that they are working on an iOS version of the app which should be released in the near future.

The Moto Buds offer a total battery life of up to 42 hours, while the Moto Buds+ offer 38 hours. With ANC turned off, the Moto Buds can provide up to nine hours of playback, while the Moto Buds+ can run for up to eight hours. Quick Charge can give two hours of playback time to the Moto Buds in just 10 minutes, while the Moto Buds+ can offer up to three hours of playback time. Both earphone charging cases support USB Type-C charging, but only the Moto Buds+ case supports wireless charging.

The charging cases of both models have an IPX4 rating for splash resistance, while the Moto Buds+ earphones have an IP54 rating for dust and splash resistance. Both models support Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity. The Moto Buds charging case with the earphones weighs 36g, while the Moto Buds+ earphones weigh 42.8g.
