Jio revises its unlimited plans, now you will have to spend THIS much for recharge

Jio has updated its unlimited prepaid and postpaid plans. Users will now need to pay a lot more for recharge plans lasting from 28 days to 365 days. These revised plans will take effect from July 3.

Reliance Jio has recently made changes to its unlimited prepaid and postpaid plans, which will take effect from July 3, 2024. The company has also introduced new services including Jio Safe for smartphone user privacy protection and the AI-powered Jio Translate service. Additionally, Jio has discontinued the provision of unlimited 5G data for all users and will now offer it only with select plans.

The major telecom service provider in the country has updated its existing plans, presenting them as new unlimited prepaid and postpaid plans. Users will be able to recharge their numbers with these plans beginning July 3. 

Reliance Jio revised plan details:

Revised 28-day plans: Prices for the 28-day plans have been increased to Rs 189, 249, 299, 349, 399, and 449 from the previous Rs 155, 209, 239, 299, 349, and 399 respectively.

Revised 56-day plans: 

Prices for the 56-day plans have been raised to Rs 579 and Rs 629 from the initial Rs 479 and Rs 533.

Revised 84-day plans: Users will now have to spend Rs 479, 799, 859, and 1199 for the 84-day plans that were previously priced at Rs 395, 666, 719, and 999.

Revised annual plans: 

The 336-day plan now costs Rs 1899 instead of 1559, while the 365-day plan has been increased to Rs 3599 from Rs 2999.

Revised data add-on plan: 

The rates for the data add-on plan have been revised to Rs 19, 29, and 69 for 1GB, 2GB, and 6GB data, respectively. Previously, these plans were priced at Rs 15, 25, and 61.

In addition, Jio has also adjusted the rates for its postpaid plans, increasing the prices for the Rs 299 and Rs 399 plans to Rs 349 and Rs 449, respectively.

Jio has launched its True 5G service in 85% of the country and has acquired new 1800 MHz bands in the recent 5G spectrum auction.
