Jio, one of the leading telecom service providers of India has unleashed a new bundled streaming plan for users who do not desire to spend extra on various OTT services. The new 'Ultimate Streaming Plan' has been designed for postpaid users at Rs 888 per month and it is further tailored specifically for Jio AirFiber and JioFiber subscribers.
As per the leading telecom player, the new plan will cater users to seeking streaming seamless and unlimited content access. The plan will deliver an internet browsing speed of 30 Mbps, which will further ensure smooth streaming experiences without any lags or buffering time.
But the main highlight lies in the inclusion of more than 15 premium OTT subscriptions- all are bundled within the plan.
Jio AirFiber: Details about the Rs 888 plan
This postpaid plan will give access to vast content across various popular platforms like Prime Video (Lite), Netflix (Basic plan) and JioCinema Premium. Furthermore, subscribers will also gain access to Sony Liv, Disney+ Hotstar, Sun NXT, Zee5 and other regional (national and international) OTT services like Discovery+, Hoichoi, Eros Now, Lionsgate Play, ALTBalaji, DocuBay, EPICON, ShemarooMe, and ETV Win (via JioTV+).
Jio also unveiled the IPL Dhan Dhana Dhan offer for its users, which has extended the benefits of the plan. The eligible subscribers could enjoy a 50-day discount credit voucher on their Jio home broadband connection. It will enable them to catch all the excitement of the ongoing T20 season.
Jio Cinema plan
Also, Jio has introduced an OTT plan update, which will unveil a new ad-free tier for its JioCinema Premium membership program. This update will bring two new options to the users: which are worth Rs 29 for plan and the Rs 89 for the family plan, which further offers greater flexibility to its viewing experience.
JioCinema Rs 29 Premium Plan- Details
The subscribers of this plan will gain access to a monthly subscription with a range of benefits, which will include 4K content access, the ability to download content for offline viewing, ad-free viewing and a diverse selection of exclusive movies, series, kids' content, Hollywood hits and TV entertainment.
However, this is worth noting that the ad-free viewing will exclude sports and live channels. This plan has been designed for single-device usage and it is compatible with various platforms like web browsers, mobile apps and TV.
JioCinema Rs 89 Premium Plan
This plan further has similar perks to the Rs 29 plan, which further includes access to 4K content, offline viewing capabilities, ad-free viewing and exclusive content.
Again, ad-free viewing will not extend to sports and live channels in this plan. However, it will further feature simultaneous streaming on up to four devices. This will make it an excellent choice for families and households with multiple users, which will significantly enhance the plan's value proposition.
