Apple has not introduced a budget iPhone to the market since 2022. However, various reports suggest that the company is working on a new budget iPhone. The purported iPhone will be known as the iPhone SE 4 and is expected to be released in the first half of next year. However, the price of the purported iPhone SE 4 has been revealed ahead of the launch. In addition to this, Apple's upcoming budget iPhone is expected to feature better specifications compared to all the previously launched iPhone SE models. These improvements will be visible in the phone's design and battery.
iPhone SE 4 leaked price
However, the price of the iPhone SE 4 may disappoint Apple fans. Tipster J.Reve has leaked the price of the iPhone SE 4 online, stating that it will be around USD 500, which translates to approximately Rs 41,000. In comparison, the starting price of the iPhone SE 3, launched in 2022, was USD 429, approximately Rs 35,000.
iPhone SE 4 specifications (expected)
The iPhone SE 4 may have a design similar to the iPhone 14. It could feature a 6.1-inch LTPO OLED display and support Face ID for the first time. Additionally, it is expected to support Apple's in-house 5G model and come with USB Type-C charging. The phone may also debut with iOS 18 and AI features.
Apple may launch this affordable iPhone SE with a 48MP primary camera and a 3,279mAh battery. Additionally, it may use the A16 Bionic chip. The first iPhone SE was introduced about 8 years ago in 2016, with an initial price of Rs 43,900 in India.
The iPhone SE 3, the last model of this series launched in 2022, features a 4.7-inch Retina HD display, 12MP rear camera, 7MP front camera, and an Apple A15 Bionic chip.
