Nothing’s sub-brand is all set to launch its first-ever smartphone in India. The company made the announcement via a social media post. The upcoming CMF Phone 1 will launch alongside the CMF Buds Pro 2 and the CMF Watch Pro 2. This news comes shortly after a leak suggested several specifications of the CMF Phone 1. Additionally, the CMF Watch Pro 2 was apparently seen on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) website, indicating an upcoming launch in the country. Here’s all you need to know.
CMF Phone 1 India launch
In a post on X, the official CMF account revealed that the CMF Buds Pro 2 and CMF Watch Pro 2 will be launching soon alongside the Phone 1. The launch is scheduled to take place during Nothing's upcoming Community Update on July 8 at 10 AM BST (2:30 PM IST).
While no specifications for any of the mentioned devices have been revealed, Nothing has teased a common design element that all three of them share—a rotating dial.
CMF Phone 1 specifications and price (rumoured)
The upcoming CMF Phone 1 is rumoured to come with a 6.7-inch OLED display featuring a 120Hz refresh rate. It is expected to have a 50-megapixel dual camera system on the rear and a 50-megapixel selfie camera on the front. According to recent leaks, the CMF Phone 1 may be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 SoC, which is an octa-core chipset with four cores running at 2.5GHz and another four at 2.0GHz.
Additionally, sources suggest that the smartphone will be available in two storage variants: 128GB and 256GB using UFS 2.2 technology. The phone is also rumoured to come with a 5,000mAh battery and support up to 33W fast charging (wired).
Meanwhile, another source suggested that the CMF Phone 1 might be priced at Rs. 19,999. However, it is speculated that its actual price may be slightly lower than the amount mentioned in the box.
