Apple has unveiled a special product launch event, which has been titled as 'Scary Fast'. The event is scheduled for October 30, just before Halloween (on October 31). The event will be streamed live online on the official website of Apple (apple.com), which is anticipated to feature updates for the upcoming Mac lineup, generating excitement among Apple enthusiasts.
Expected devices to launch at the event
Rumours suggest that Apple might introduce a refreshed 24-inch iMac and a new MacBook Pro during the event. These devices could incorporate Apple's latest M3 chip, promising even faster performance. Mark Gurman from Bloomberg reported that this launch might break a 900-day drought since introducing the M1 iMac in early 2021.
According to sources, configurations of the iMac, 13-inch MacBook Pro, and other high-end Pro models might not ship until November. This event follows Apple's "Wanderlust" event which took place in September 2023, where the company unveiled the latest iPhone 15 lineup, Apple Watch Series 9, and AirPods Pro with USB-C charging.
Recently launched Apple Pencil
In addition to the anticipated hardware updates, Apple has introduced a new and affordable Apple Pencil, offering users pixel-perfect accuracy, low latency, and tilt sensitivity. This new Apple Pencil, priced at Rs 7,900 (Rs 6,900 for education purposes), will be available starting in early November, providing iPad users with enhanced drawing and writing capabilities.
Mac lineups
Apple enthusiasts and tech enthusiasts, in general, are eagerly anticipating the event, hoping for groundbreaking innovations and upgrades in the Mac lineup, aligning with Apple's tradition of pushing the boundaries of technology and design. Stay tuned on October 30 to witness the unveiling of Apple's latest offerings that promise to be "Scary Fast."
