Apple, a leading consumer tech brand operated from Cupertino (US), is planning to launch the new MacBook Pro laptop which will be powered by an M4 chipset. As per the reports, the upcoming laptop from the tech player will enter the Indian market by the fourth quarter (Q4) in India.

Ross Young, a known Apple analyst has suggested that the company might start the production of new laptops with 14-inch and 16-inch displays, which will be named as MacBook Pro itself. Further, as per the suggestions, the upcoming MacBook Pros might head for a launch, later this year (2024).

Apple unleashed the new M4 chipset along with the iPad Pro model at its recent event which took place in May (‘Let Loose'’ event). The new chipset is said to be “an outrageously powerful chip for AI” and the M4 chip will also feature a new neural engine, which has been specifically designed to handle artificial intelligence (AI) workload easily.

The tech company, led by Tim Cook is further expected to upgrade the MacBook lineup with an OLED (Organic Light Emitting Diodes) display on the devices. However, it is yet not confirmed by the company if the expected change will be implemented for the upcoming models by this year (2024) or in 2025.

OLED displays are capable of delivering improved image quality and Apple is currently using mini-LED display on the MacBook Pro models which are significantly better when compared to the traditional LED displays but are not quite in the same league with OLEDs.
