Apple held its ‘Let Loose’ event on May 7. At the event, Apple announced the launch of the new iPad Air, iPad Pro, and Apple Pencil Pro. The new iPad Air is now available in two sizes: 11-inch and 113-inch with a Liquid Retina display. The newly launched iPad is now powered by an M2 chip. Apple has also upgraded its iPad Pro. The new iPad Pro is now an Apple M4 chip and is also available in two sizes: 11-inch and 13-inch. It features an Ultra Retina XDR display with state-of-the-art tandem OLED technology.
In addition to this, the company also announced the launch of the new Apple Pencil Pro, which comes with advanced features like squeeze, barrel roll, and haptic feedback. The new pencil now comes with the Find My feature and stores magnetically on the side of the iPad. Here are all the details you need to know about newly launched Apple devices.
Apple iPad Air, iPad Pro, Pencil Pro price and availability
The new 11-inch and 13-inch iPad Air will be available in blue, purple, starlight, and space grey, with 128GB, 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB configurations. The 11-inch iPad Air starts at Rs 59,900 for the Wi-Fi model, and Rs 74,900 for the Wi-Fi + Cellular model. The 13-inch iPad Air starts at Rs 79,900 for the Wi-Fi model, and Rs 94,900 for the Wi-Fi + Cellular model.
Interested buyers can order the new iPad Air with M2 starting May 7, on Apple’s official website and in the Apple Store app. It will begin arriving to customers starting Wednesday, May 15.
The new 11-inch and 13-inch iPad Pro will be available in silver and space black finishes in 256GB, 512GB, 1TB, and 2TB configurations. The 11-inch iPad Pro starts at Rs 99,900 for the Wi-Fi model, and Rs 1,19,900 for the Wi-Fi + Cellular model. The 13-inch iPad Pro starts at Rs 1,29,900 for the Wi-Fi model, and Rs 1,49,900 for the Wi-Fi + Cellular model.
Furthermore, the new Apple Pencil Pro is compatible with the new iPad Pro and iPad Air. It is available for Rs 11,900.

iPad Air
On the camera front, it gets, an Ultra Wide 12MP camera in the landscape edge, which delivers high-resolution photos and detailed 4K video with support for 240-fps slo-mo. It also includes support for Wi-Fi 6E and cellular models include super-fast 5G.
iPad Pro
The new iPad Pro is powered by an M4 chip coupled to up to 2TB of storage. It is also available in two sizes 11-inch and 13-inch and features an Ultra Retina XDR display with state-of-the-art tandem OLED technology. The new iPad Pro supports an incredible 1000 nits of full-screen brightness for SDR and HDR content, and 1600 nits peak for HDR.
For pro users working in high-end, colour-managed workflows or challenging lighting conditions, iPad Pro also offers a new nano-texture glass option, which is precisely etched at a nanometer scale. It maintains image quality and contrast while scattering ambient light for reduced glare.
The M4 chip on the iPad Pro offers up to four performance cores and six efficiency cores and delivers up to 1.5x faster CPU performance over M2.
On the camera front, it gets a 12MP back camera. It also now features a new adaptive True Tone flash that makes document scanning better than ever. On the front, it features a 12MP TrueDepth camera system that moves to the landscape location on the new iPad Pro.
iPad Pro includes a high-performance USB-C connector with support for Thunderbolt 3 and USB 4. It also supports Wi-Fi 6E and 5G.
Apple Pencil Pro
Apple Pencil Pro now features a new sensor in the barrel that can sense a user’s squeeze to bring up a tool palette to quickly switch tools, line weights, and colours. It has a custom haptic engine that delivers a light tap that provides confirmation when users squeeze, use double-tap, or snap to a Smart Shape. Apple Pencil Pro also brings support for Find My for the first time to Apple Pencil to help users locate Apple Pencil Pro if misplaced.
