To address this, DoT is considering using balloons and drones as temporary solutions to ensure continuous 5G coverage until the regular infrastructure can be restored.

In times of natural disasters or emergencies, establishing new mobile sites can be challenging and time-consuming for telecom operators. They often struggle to restore their networks quickly due to damaged infrastructure and power outages.
