Xiaomi Redmi Y2 now in Mesmerising Blue and Stunning Black Colour Variants
After launching the Redmi Y2 Dark Grey, Gold, and Rose Gold colour way back in June, the company has now launched the Xiaomi Redmi Y2 in Mesmerising Blue and Stunning Black colour in India. The company will be launching the two colours on Friday. The phone is packed with a 16MP selfie camera with LED flash, along with a dual rear camera setup at the back. Both the colours will go on sale via Amazon.in and Mi.com at 12 noon on Friday, followed up with Mi Home stores and offline retailers in coming time.

The Redmi Y2 is not the only phone that got the extended colour options, as the Chinese manufacturer also introduced the Mi A2 in a Red Colour Edition. Not to forget that Xiaomi had also launched the Redmi Note 5 Pro in a Red variant.
Xiaomi Redmi Y2 specs
The Redmi Y2 comes in dual-SIM (Nano) and sports a 5.99-inch HD+ (720x1440 pixels) display with 18:9 aspect ratio. Powering the phone is the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor with Adreno 506 GPU, packed in two variants of 3GB RAM 32GB storage and 4GB RAM 64GB storage. It runs on MIUI 9.5 on top of Android 8.1 Oreo and uses a dual camera setup that holds a 12MP primary sensor and a 5MP secondary sensor backed with a 1.25-micron pixel size and AI-based features. On the front is a 16MP Super Pixel sensor with LED flash, Face Unlock and AI Beautify 4.0. It comes with a rear-facing fingerprint sensor as well as an infrared sensor and has a 3,080mAh battery.
