Followed with a lot of teasers and leaks, Xiaomi has finally confirmed the launch of its highly awaited Redmi Note 7 in India. The phone will be making its way on 28th February and the company has said that it will be opening registrations to buy tickets for the event today.

Redmi Note 7 specifications
The Redmi Note 7 comes with a 6.3-inch (2340 ×1080 pixels) Full HD+ 19:5:9 2.5D curved glass display with 1500:1 contrast ratio, 450 nits brightness and 84 per cent NTSC Color Gamut that is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. The phone is powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 660 14nm processor with Adreno 512 GPU. It comes with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage, backed with 4GB/6GB RAM and 64GB storage that can be expanded to 256GB via microSD card. The phone runs on MIUI10 with Android 9.0 (Pie) and gets Hybrid Dual SIM (nano + nano / microSD).
The biggest highlight of the phone is the 48 Megapixel rear camera with LED flash that is backed by f/1.8 aperture, 0.8μm pixel size, PDAF, EIS along with a 5 Megapixel secondary camera. On the front is a 13 Megapixel camera for selfies and video calling. It gets a fingerprint sensor at the back and houses a 4000mAh battery with Quick Charge 4. It measures 159.21 x 75.21 x 8.1mm in dimensions and weighs 186g.
Redmi Note 7 price
The Redmi Note 7 was priced in China with a starting price of 999 yuan (Rs 10,390 approx.). The phone was launched in colour options of Black, Blue and Purple. The Redmi Note 7 price in India will be revealed in a few days time.
