The Chinese smartphone maker, Xiaomi has made its new Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro official in Thailand. It is a mid-range smartphone and a successor to the Redmi Note 5 Pro. The new Redmi Note 6 Pro features include a 19:9 display with a notch, dual selfie cameras, upgraded rear camera sensors and AI features. The Redmi Note 6 Pro specifications include Snapdragon 636, which was also there on the Redmi Note 5 Pro. Despite launching it in Thailand, there is no official comment by the company around phone launching in China or other markets. Note that the phone is not listed in the Xiaomi Thailand's website but is in the country's official Mi forum. Also, the phone is available in Dubai too, but there is no official announcement about this in the UAE.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro features and specifications
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro comes with MIUI on top of Android and features a 6.26-inch full-HD+ IPS LCD full-screen panel with a 19:9 aspect ratio with 86 percent screen-to-body ratio. For protection, the phone comes with Corning Gorilla Glass. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro specifications include a 14nm octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 SoC, backed with Adreno 509 GPU. It gets 4GB RAM with 64GB of inbuilt storage. The phone uses a dual rear camera setup at the back that comprises of the 12MP primary camera along with a 5MP secondary sensor with Dual Pixel autofocus, 1.4-micron pixels, and AI portrait 2.0. On the front is again a dual camera setup that comes with a 20MP primary camera and a 2MP secondary sensor, copulated with the 4-in-1 super pixel as well as AI face unlock capabilities. In terms of battery, the phone houses a 4,000mAh battery that is claimed to offer 2 days battery on full charge.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro price
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro price is THB 6,990 (Rs. 15,700 approx.), for the 4GB+64GB variant in Thailand as on Facebook and Mi Forums. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro will be coming on the Thailand-based e-commerce websites from 27th September and will feature in colours like Blue, Black and Rose Gold colour options. The Redmi Note 6 Pro price in India is not announced and there is no news on the availability as well.
