Xiaomi launches its first Android Go Edition smartphone in India called the Xiaomi Redmi Go. It comes with a great deal of India-focused features that includes support for 20 Indian languages and Google Assistant in the Hindi language.

Redmi Go Specification
The Redmi Go gets a 5-inch HD display with 1280 x 720-pixel resolution with 16:9 aspect ratio, 296 PPI and 1000 contrast ratio. The display also gets a Night light feature along with Ambient display. Powering it is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 quad-core processor along with Adreno 308 GPU and 1GB RAM. The phone also gets 8GB of internal storage that can be expanded to 128GB using a microSD card.
The phone is optimized for entertainment and runs on Android 8.1 Oreo (Go Edition) and comes pre-installed with customised apps like Youtube Go, Gmail Go, Assistant Go and Maps Go.
The phone gets an 8MP rear camera with 7 real-time filters along with 11 scenes at your choice and unlimited storage via Google photos. The camera supports 1080p FHD video recording. On the front is a 5MP camera with AI and Auto HDR for selfies and HD video calling. It gets 3000mAh battery for decent usability for a lasting effect and gets an inbox power adapter.
Redmi Go Price
The Redmi Go price in India is Rs 4,499 and will be available in two colours of Blue and Black. the phone will go on sale on 22nd March 12 noon, on Flipkart, Mi.com and Mi.home. Other offers will include offers from Jio with Rs 2,200 cashback and 100GB data free.
