Xiaomi Redmi Go set to go on sale tomorrow via Flipkart

The Redmi Go expected to be the company’s most-cheapest smartphone that runs on Android Oreo (Go Edition) and is expected to go on sale via Flipkart.

Xiaomi Redmi Go set to go on sale tomorrow via Flipkart

Xiaomi will be launching its new entry-level smartphone in India tomorrow called the Redmi Go. The Redmi Go expected to be the company’s most-cheapest smartphone that runs on Android Oreo (Go Edition). Flipkart has already created a dedicated page that highlights the key features of the smartphone.

According to the page, the Redmi Go will come powered by the Snapdragon chipset backed with Android Oreo (Go Edition). The phone comes with AI camera with 11 scene modes and auto-HDR feature. Xiaomi has been teasing the phone as “Aap Ki Nayi Duniya”, which suggests that the phone would come with Google Assistant support in Hindi and the phone will come with support for over 20 regional languages targeting the India centric audience.

The Redmi Go has already been launched in Europe at €80 (Rs 6,513 approx.).

Xiaomi Redmi Go specifications

The Redmi Go comes with a 5-inch HD display with 1280×720 pixels and gets a traditional aspect ratio of 16:9. Powering the device is the 1.4 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 processor with quad-core CPU, coupled with 1GB RAM and 8GB internal storage along with an external microSD card slot for expandable storage.

It features an 8 Megapixel rear camera, along with a 5 Megapixel camera on the front for video calling and selfies. Other connectivity options include Bluetooth v4.1, 4G VoLTE, dual SIM, microUSB port, Wi-Fi, GPS, 3.5mm audio socket and will house a 3,000mAh battery as well.
