Xiaomi Redmi 6 going on flash sale today at 12PM
Xiaomi had gone and launched the Redmi 6 earlier this September. With the launch of new series, the company has decided to set separate sale dates for every phone in the series and the Redmi 6 will be going on a flash sale today at 12 pm on Mi.com and Flipkart.
Xiaomi has launched the Redmi 6 in two variants. The cheaper Redmi 6 comes with 3 GB RAM and 32 GB of internal storage that has been priced for Rs 7,999, whereas the other is a 3 GB RAM/64 GB variant that comes priced for Rs 9,499.

The Redmi 6 comes with a 5.45-inch display, whereas powering the phone is a MediaTek Helio P22 chipset. For cameras, the device is backed by a dual camera that comprises of a 12 MP primary unit along with a 5 MP secondary camera sensor at the back that also comes with AI portrait mode feature. Towards the front is a 5 MP selfie camera.
The handset runs on Android Oreo 8.1 with MIUI 9.6 and is backed by a 3,000 mAh battery. For connectivity, the Redmi 6 is packed with features like 4G with support for VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.2 and a micro USB 2.0. The phone also comes with a 3.5 mm headphone jack and will be made available in four colour options that include Black, Blue, Gold and Rose Gold.
Meanwhile, the Xiaomi Redmi 6A, which is the entry-level device will go on sale on September 19 that will be available on Amazon and Mi.com.
