Xiaomi has launched the Mi AirPOP PM2.5 Anti-Pollution Mask in India. Just like it teased on Wednesday, the Mi AirPOP PM2.5 Anti-Pollution Mask is available in the market, priced at Rs 249. The mask is listed on Xiaomi's own website, Mi.com.

The company announced the availability of the Mi AirPOP PM2.5 anti-pollution mask via a tweet on Thursday, in which the company noted, "Beat the pollution with Mi AirPOP PM2.5 Anti-Pollution Mask! Goes on sale for the first time in India at 12 noon only on mi.com. Get yours today. RT to spread the word."
The Mi AirPOP mask offers 99 per cent PM 2.5 protection. It comes with four layers of filtration, including an advanced air circulation vent and is soft and comfortable to wear at all times. It can be folded easily and according to the company can be used for 15 hours.
According to Xiaomi, the Mi AirPOP is designed keeping in mind the rising air pollution in India that is customized to deal with all day to day usage in Indian conditions. The mask has been designed using a skin friendly fabric and a 3D effect that will comfortably fit the user.
It comes with four layers of filtration primary, support mesh, electrostatic micro-filtration and water permeable -- to combat air pollutants that enter the nostrils and mouth of the users and the tiny pores on the mask are said to block the particulate matter. Other features include a large vortex breathing valve, which quickly "discharges warm air and vapour while blocking out pollutants".
