Xiaomi has announced its new gaming smartphone called the Xiaomi Black Shark 2. This is a successor to the Xiaomi Black Shark that has been announced in China but no details on the global launch are out yet, but the company is expected to launch the Black Shark 2 in India soon.
Xiaomi Black Shark 2 specifications
The Xiaomi Black Shark 2 comes with a 6.39-inch full HD+ display with 19.5:9 aspect ratio with 1080x2340 pixels resolution and will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor. It runs on Android 9.0 Pie OS and will be made available in three configurations of 6GB/8GB/12GB RAM along with 128GB/256GB storage.
For better gaming, the phone comes incorporated with liquid cooling 3.0 that uses a liquid-cooled plate and liquid cooling 3.0 that uses a liquid-cooled plate as well as a liquid cooled tube to reduce the CPU temperature by up to 14 degrees. The phone gets a unique X-style antenna for better signal reception and an in-display fingerprint sensor.
It gets a dual rear camera setup with 48 Megapixel primary camera with f/1.75 aperture, LED flash and a secondary 12 Megapixel telephoto camera with F/2.2 aperture. Towards the front is a 20 Megapixel selfie camera that gets f/2.0 aperture. For connectivity, the phone comes with 4G, VoLTE, 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, USB Type-C and houses a 4,000 mAh battery with fast charging support.

The Xiaomi Black Shark 2 price starts at 3199yuan (Rs 32,792 approx.) for 6GB RAM variant, 3,799 yuan (Rs 38,943 approx.) for the 8GB RAM version and 4,199yuan (Rs 43,043 approx.) for 12GB RAM version. The Xiaomi Black Shark 2 will come in three colour options of Shadow Black, Frozen Silver and Mirage Blue.
