According to reports by WaBetainfo, the WhatsApp is working on a shortcut that can allow users to make group calls. Moreso, there are reports that suggest WhatsApp developers have added the feature to WhatsApp beta version on both Android and iOS. With this feature, a new group call shortcut will be added to the group chat window. One can tap on the shortcut that will provide a list of members present in the chat. Users will be able to choose between video calls and voice calls. In order to do this, the user will be required to call an individual and then add the other member in the call later.
Another feature of WhatsApp that might be coming soon is the continuous playback voice messages in the app. This feature will allow the messaging app to playback audio messages in the chat continuously, in case the app discovers two or more than two voice messages in the chat.
WhatsApp could be working on an update that will help in displaying video previews as soon as the contact sends a video and the video can be previewed even when the phone is locked in the notification settings.
