WhatsApp Business app for iOS starts rolling for iPhone users

WhatsApp Business app, a Facebook-owned communication app specifically designed for small businesses is now available for iPhone users in several countries, including India. The WhatsApp Business app is a free-to-download app. It is used by businesses to support customers, grow their businesses and serve their communities all over the world.

The WhatsApp Business app was launched for Android in January 2018 and the company said in a blog post on Thursday, "Today we're introducing the WhatsApp Business app for iOS. Like the Android version -- which over the last year has been adopted by millions of businesses around the world -- the WhatsApp Business app for iOS will be free to download from the Apple App Store".

Apart from India, the app has started rolling out to iOS users in parts of the world that include Germany, Brazil, Indonesia, Britain, Mexico and the US. The app lets users share useful information about one's business that includes the business description, store addresses or emails and websites.

WhatsApp said that with this, one will be able to respond to customers using efficient messaging tools that include quick replies that will be able to provide fast answers to frequently asked questions along with greeting messages to introduce customers, as well as away messages that will allow users to know when to expect the reply.

The WhatsApp Business app has an active user base of more than five million and comes with the new desktop and web features included in the app for quick replies that happen to be frequent messages to answer common questions.
