Vivo has announced its latest mid-segment budget smartphone called the Vivo Y93 in China. The phone comes under the ‘Y series’ of Vivo lineup that comes in two colour options of Midnight Black and Purple colours.

Vivo Y93 specifications
The Vivo Y93 sports a 6.2-inch HD+ (720x1580 pixels) display with a 19:9 aspect ratio and comes powered by the 1.95 GHz, octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 processor paired with 4GB RAM and 64GB inbuilt storage that can be expanded to 256GB. The smartphone comes with dual-SIM functionality and runs on FuntouchOS 4.5 based on Android 8.1 Oreo.
For optics, the Vivo Y93 comes with a dual rear camera setup that includes a 13MP primary camera, along with a 2MP secondary sensor that comes with features phase-detection autofocus and supports AI-powered portrait mode. Towards the front is an 8MP camera for selfies that gets features like AI beautification, Face Wake and AR stickers, along with facial recognition technology to unlock the phone. In terms of connectivity, the phone comes with options like 4G VoLTE, GPS, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and OTG support and houses a 4,030mAh battery.
The Vivo Y93 price is CNY 1,500 (Rs. 15,900 approx.). The smartphone is currently available via Vivo's online store in China. There is no info on the India availability.
