Chinese consumer electronics firm TCL Electronics on Monday launched in India a 4k Ultra High Definition (UHD) smart TV, 65X4, for Rs 1,49,990.
The 65X4 is India's first Google-certified Android QLED TV and will be available under a special festival season offer for Rs 1,09,990 on Amazon from October 25, TCL Electronics said in a statement.
"Through this product (65X4), we are confident of elevating the home entertainment experience of India's growing young consumer base and providing them with cutting-edge technology at the most affordable rates," said Mike Chen, Country Manager, TCL India.
TCL 65X4 also comes with Harman Kardon speakers for powerful, high-impact sounds. This is further accentuated by Dolby's advanced DTS post-processing technology, which delivers immersive surround sound by optimising TV audio and creating a rich acoustic field, the company said.
The 65X4's 64-bit quad-core CPU and dual-core GPU (graphics processing unit) is also complemented by 2.5GB RAM and 16GB storage, it added.
The Chinese consumer electronics firm earlier this month announced it partnered with the Andhra Pradesh government to set up a new manufacturing facility in Tirupati.
