Sharp has gone and unveiled the Aquos Zero. This is the first phone from Sharp that comes with an OLED panel. Launched in Japan, the phone uses Sharp’s sophisticated technology that also has been used in their TV panels.
SHARP Aquos Zero specifications
The Aquos Zero features a 6.22-inch WQHD+ (1440×2992) display with support for the DCI-P3 color space and Dolby Vision and a notch on top. Powering the device is Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC, paired with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. It runs on Android 9 Pie OS and houses a 3,130 mAh battery. According to the company, the SHARP Aquos Zero is one of the lightest flagships launched in recent times.
For optics, the Aquos Zero comes with a 22.6 MP rear camera with f/1.9 aperture and on the front is an 8 MP sensor. The phone gets IP68 certification for water and dust resistance and has a fingerprint scanner on the back, along with a face unlock system. The Aquos Zero feature Stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos technology and also has a heat dissipation technology. In terms of build quality, the phone on the back gets an aramid fibre and magnesium alloy on the side frame.
