As Samsung is planning on launching the Galaxy M2 in a few days, the phone has now appeared on the AnTuTu and Geekbench, wherein the listing reveals some of the specifications of Galaxy M2. According to the specs, the phone might be an entry level device and could be the first smartphone under the Galaxy M series.

Reports suggest that the upcoming Galaxy M series is said to replace the Galaxy On series lineup. A model number SM-M205F has been listed on both AnTuTu and Geekbench, while the AnTuTu listing reveals that the Galaxy M2 may run on Android 8.1 Oreo and would come with a 1080x2340 pixel screen. The phone is listed to be powered by the Exynos 7885 processor paired with Mali-G71 MP2 GPU along with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. The phone on AnTuTu achieves a score of 107,452. On Geekbench listing the phone comes with the same SM-M205F model number that implies that the phone is powered by Exynos 7885 paired with 3GB RAM. As per Geekbench, the phone comes with a single-core score of 1,319, and a multi-core score of 4,074. The phone is also listed to run on Android 8.1 out of the box and the device could come with Experience UI on top of it.
Moreover, the company plans on launching three more models that include the Galaxy M5, Galaxy M3 and Galaxy M2. According to reports, the Galaxy M5 would be the higher end model amongst the new M series that would feature the AMOLED display.
