With Huawei announcing the Nova 4 that has an in-display camera for 17th December, Samsung has now confirmed the announcement of its A8s smartphone that comes with a display hole for the camera, which will come on 10th December, making it almost a week before Huawei.

Huawei has been bringing the fight, since late November to first launch the phone with a screen hole, but now looks like Samsung has upped the game by announcing the launch of Galaxy A8s before Huawei.
The LCD display of both Galaxy A8s and nova 4 have been made by BOE, but it says that Samsung phones are more premium, amongst the two.
As far as the specs of the Galaxy A8s are concerned, the phone comes is rumoured to come with a 6.3-inch (2340 x 1080 pixels) Full HD+ 19:5:9 2.5D curved glass display, while powering it would be the Octa-Core Snapdragon 710 (10nm) SoC with Adreno 616 GPU and 6GB RAM with 128GB storage that can be expanded to 512GB via microSD card.
For cameras, the Galaxy A8s will come with three rear cameras at the back that includes a 24 Megapixel camera with LED flash and f/1.7 aperture, a 10 Megapixel, 120-degree Ultra Wide sensor and a 5 Megapixel f/2.2 depth camera. Towards the front would be the 24 Megapixel camera with F/2.0 aperture. The phone is expected to house a 3400mAh battery with adaptive fast charging and run on Android 8.0 (Oreo).
The pricing will be announced when it goes official next on Monday.
