After launching the Samsung Galaxy S10 series smartphones, along with the Samsung Galaxy Fold, the company has now announced its new and upgraded Galaxy A series with two initial offerings in the mid-tier portfolio. Let's take a look at both the phones-

Samsung Galaxy A50 specifications
The Samsung Galaxy A50 comes with a 6.4-inch Full HD+ Infinity-U Super AMOLED display with 2340 x 1080 pixels resolution and is powered by the Octa-Core Exynos 9610 10nm processor with Mali-G72 GPU with 4GB RAM/64GB storage and 6GB RAM/128GB storage that can be expanded to 512GB using a microSD card. It comes with Dual SIMs and runs on Android 9.0 (Pie).
The Galaxy A50 comes with a 25 Megapixel rear camera with LED flash, f/1.7 aperture, 5 Megapixel depth sensor with f/2.2 aperture, 8 Megapixel ultra-wide angle camera with f/2.2 aperture. Towards the front is a 25 Megapixel camera with f/2.0 aperture.
The phone measures 158.5 x 74.7 x 7.7mm in dimensions and houses a 4000mAh battery with fast charging. It gets an in-display fingerprint sensor and comes in Black, White, Blue and Coral colours.
Samsung Galaxy A30 specifications
The Samsung Galaxy A30 comes with a 6.4-inch Full HD+ Infinity-U Super AMOLED display and is powered by an Octa-Core Exynos 7870 14nm processor with Mali-G71 GPU, along with 3GB RAM/32GB storage and 4GB RAM with 64GB Storage that can be expanded to 512GB via micro SD card.
The phone gets a 16 Megapixel rear camera with LED flash, f/1.7 aperture and 5 Megapixel ultra-wide angle camera with f/2.2 aperture. Towards the front is a 16 Megapixel front camera with f/2.0 aperture for video calling and selfies. The phone measures 158.5 x 74.7 x 7.7mm in dimensions and houses a 4000mAh battery with fast charging. It gets a fingerprint sensor at the back and comes in colour options of Black, White, Blue colours.
Both the phones will go on sale in India by mid-March.
