Other rumours suggest that the phone will come with a 6.39-inch FHD+ no-notch display, backed with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. It is likely to come with a 48 Mega Pixel primary rear camera with an 8 MP telephoto lens along with a 13MP ultra-wide angle lens. Xiaomi India VP last week confirmed that the company would be launching a new Redmi smartphone that would be powered by Snapdragon 730. There were other reports that suggest a pop-up camera for this as well along with a 3.5mm audio jack. Considering this, we could see two variants of the Redmi smartphone with different CPU's.
The upcoming Redmi flagship is expected to launch in China soon, around May that could as well launch in India during the same time frame.
