Realme has sent out media invites for an event scheduled for Septemeber 27. Not to forget, the RealMe 2 Pro event was confirmed for September by Madhav Seth, the Chief Executive Officer of the company, at the Raelme 2 launch that took place last month. The company as such hasn't really thrown light on the event details but considering the invite, looks like Realme is set to expand its existing smartphone portfolio in India.

As the company had launched the budget variant of Realme 2 last month that was priced at Rs 8990, the new RealMe 2 might be a slightly expensive model. With leaks and rumours surfing the internet, reports suggest that the RealMe 2 Pro could come powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC, along with a 6GB RAM.
We could expect similar features like the RealMe 2 that features a 6.2-inch (1520 x 720-pixel resolution) HD+ display and features a notch on the top. The screen is 19:9 aspect ratio and the phone runs on Android Oreo skinned with ColorOS 5.1 on top. The Realme2 runs on Snapdragon 450 processor and powers on a 4,230mAh battery.
For the camera, it comes with a unification of 13MP+2MP dual rear cameras and uses an 8MP sensor on the front, backed with HDR, AI beautification 2.0 and Bokeh mode. For unlocking, the phone comes with a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, along with a face unlock trait. The RealMe 2 was launched with a storage capacity of 32GB and 64GB respectively along with expandable memory option that can be increased to 256GB.
Realme 2 Pro launch date would be September 27, as the invite suggests, wherein the company will be launching the RealMe 2 Pro in India. The RealMe 2 Pro price in India will also be revealed at the official event.
