Razer has unveiled the new Razer Phone 2. This is the successor to the last year’s Razer Phone and packs a 5.72-inch Quad HD 120 Hz UltraMotion display that delivers the fastest refresh rates with smooth graphics that makes gaming simply perfect. The Razer Phone 2 features 645 nits, making it brighter than the predecessor. It is powered by Snapdragon 845 backed by Vapor Chamber Cooling. This technology allows heat to spread throughout the phone via a custom vapor chamber and comes with 8GB RAM.
For optics the Razer Phone 2 sports a dual 12 Megapixel rear cameras. Making the phone even cooler is the Razer Chroma RGB logo on the back, which literally glows in different colours for notifications. The phone gets a Glass Back and has IP67 ratings for Water Resistance for up to 1 meter.
For audio, the Razer Phone 2 features stereo front-facing speakers with Dolby Atmos, but misses out on the 3.5mm audio jack. Instead, the phone comes with 24-bit DAC Audio Adapter. The device houses a 4000mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 4+ support and Wireless Charging.

Display: The Razer Phone 2 comes with a 5.72-inch (2560×1440 pixels) Quad HD IGZO LCD UltraMotion display with 645 nits brightness and uses Corning Gorilla Glass 5 for protection.
Processor: The phone is powered by a 2.8GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 845 64-bit 10nm Mobile Platform with Adreno 630 GPU and has Vapor Chamber Cooling, backed with 8GB LPDDR4x RAM with 64GB (UFS) storage that can be expanded to 2TB with microSD.
Software: It runs on Android 8.1 (Oreo) and is upgradable to Android 9.0 (Pie).
Camera: The Razer Phone 2 features a 12 Megapixel camera with f/1.75 wide-angle lens and OIS, Dual PDAF, along with a secondary 12 Megapixel camera with f/2.6 aperture telephoto lens, backed by Sony IMX Sensors and dual-tone LED flash. Towards the front is an 8 Megapixel camera with f/2.0 aperture.
Design and audio: The phone measures 158.5 x 78.99 x 8.5 mm in dimensions and has a side mounted Fingerprint sensor and has IP67 Water resistance. It sports stereo front-facing speakers with Dual amplifiers and has Dolby Atmos along with 24-bit DAC Audio Adapter.
Battery and connectivity: The Razer Phone 2 houses a 4000mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 4+ and has wireless charging capability. For connectivity, the phone gets 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5, GPS/ GLONASS, NFC and USB Type-C.
Price: The Razer Phone 2 price is $799 (Rs. 59,450 approx.), and comes in two versions of Mirror and Satin. It is up for order in the US, UK, Canada and Europe for the Mirror version. The Satin version will be announced later.
