Xiaomi is pushing out the beta update for the POCO F1 users, who had been a part of the beta program. This beta update brings in a number of important additions to the phone and one of the biggest highlights in this update is the 960 fps slow-motion video ability.

The new MIUI 10.8.12.4 beta update not only help in shooting videos in 960 fps but also lets users capture slow-motion video at 120 fps and 240 fps. Another update that got introduced is the 'Super low-light' mode or a night mode for clicking images in poor lit situations. In the Super low-light mode, the camera takes eight photos at different exposures and merges all the images into a better photo.
The beta update was announced by Poco India General Manager, Manmohan Chandolu. Users will be able to sideload this update in case it doesn't show up in the OTA update. The new update also revamps the Apps section that is placed in the Settings menu.
Note that the Poco F1 is powered by the flagship grade Snapdragon 845 processor and comes at a starting price of Rs 20,999. Moreso, the phone will be up for a huge discount on Flipkart, starting from 6th December.
