Oppo, the Chinese tech giant has gone and released a poster teaser of an upcoming phone on Weibo that would be launched on 10 October. Although there is no specific name for the phone, but reports suggest that this could be a new K-series smartphone.
PBCM30 was found listed on TENAA authority in China and the phone is expected to be the new Oppo K series phone that could be called Oppo K1.
Looking at the Oppo teaser, one can see a proximity of an in-display fingerprint reader, since it does not happen to have a rear and front mounted scanner.
Based on the TENAA listed Oppo phones, the OPPO K1 specifications include a 6.4-inch AMOLED display with 2340 x 1080 pixels and the phone is expected to run on Android 8.1 Oreo-based ColorOS skin on top. Powering the phone would be the Snapdragon 660 chipset that had appeared on Geekbench as well.
Apart from PBCM30, there were two other models that were listed on TENAA with name PBCM10 and PBCT10. The PBCM30 model would come with 6GB RAM and 64GB storage, whereas the other two PBCM10 and PBCT10 would come with 4GB RAM followed with 128GB storage.
For camera sensors, all devices will pack a dual camera set up at the back with 16 MP and 2 MP lens setup, while on the front would be the 25 MP selfie camera. All phones will house 3500mAh batteries and have been listed in Blue, Red, and Silver colour options.
