OnePlus finally launches the OnePlus 7 Pro as promised. The launch event was scheduled in Bengaluru, London, and New York simultaneously. Apart from the OnePlus 7 Pro, the company launched the OnePlus 7 as well, making it a more affordable option. The company stepped the game and made several changes in its products that includes a better display and a pop-up selfie camera.

OnePlus 7 Pro specifications
The OnePlus 7 Pro comes with a 6.67-inch Quad HD+ display with 3120 x 1440 pixels resolution and 19.5:9 aspect ratio backed with Fluid AMOLED display with 516PPI, 90Hz refresh rate, sRGB colour gamut, DCI-P3 colour gamut and HDR10. It gets a Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection on the back and has a daily water-resistance that protects it from splash and spills. It features an improved in-display fingerprint sensor and also features stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos.
Powering the phone is the Octa-Core Snapdragon 855 7nm CPU, backed with Adreno 640 GPU. The phone comes in three variants of 6GB RAM with 128GB, 8GB RAM with 256GB storage and 12GB RAM with 256GB storage. It runs on Android 9.0 (Pie) with OxygenOS 9.5 and comes with Dual SIM (nano+nano).
For cameras, the phone comes with a 48 Megapixel rear camera with Dual LED Flash, 7P lens, f/1.6 aperture, 1/2.25″ Sony IMX586 sensor with OIS and EIS, an 8 Megapixel Telephoto lens with f/2.4 aperture, 3x zoom and a 16 Megapixel 117° Ultra-wide lens with f/2.2 aperture. During the event, the company stated that the camera scored 111 points in DxOMark mobile ratings.
Towards the front is a 16 Megapixel pop-up front-facing camera that according to the company has been tested over 300,000 times. The phone houses a 4000mAh battery with Warp Charge 30 Fast Charging and comes with Dual 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 5, and USB Type-C support.
OnePlus 7 Pro price
The OnePlus 7 Pro price starts at Rs 48,999 for the 6GB RAM with 128GB storage, Rs 52,999 for the 8GB RAM with 256GB storage and Rs 57,999 for the top-end 12GB RAM with 256GB storage variant. The OnePlus 7 Pro will be available in colour options of Nebula Blue, Mirror Gray and Almond colours.
The OnePlus 7 Pro 6GB RAM/128 GB, 8GB RAM/256 GB variants will be available in Mirror Gray that will be available via Amazon.in,oneplus.in, all OnePlus exclusive offline stores, including MyJio stores, Reliance Digital outlets from 17th May, whereas the 8GB RAM/256 GB, 12GB RAM/256GB in Nebula Blue will be available from May 28th and the 8GB RAM/ 256 GB Almond version will be available in June. Other launch offers will include Rs 2000 cashback on purchase via SBI debit and credit cards, Jio benefits worth Rs 9300 and assured buyback value of 70 per cent on the exchange via Servify. There will also be up to 6 months of no-cost EMI on select channels.
