OnePlus 6T gets a new Thunder Purple colour variant, which is currently limited to China. The OnePlus 6T was originally launched in Midnight Black and Mirror Black colours. The OnePlus 6T Thunder Purple colour is a gradient option with various shades at the back.
Moreso, the OnePlus 6T was also seen in a leaked render on the OnePlus support page in a drop-down menu, which lets users choose a variant that also includes the Thunder Purple colour.
Note that after launching the OnePlus 6 in colours like Midnight Black and the Mirror Black, the company later launched the smartphone in other colour options of Silk White and Red editions.
The new Thunder Purple colour of OnePlus 6T is expected to come in 8GB RAM+128GB storage option, but there is no confirmation on when this colour variant will make its way to India.

The OnePlus 6T comes with dual-SIM (Nano) and runs OxygenOS that is based on Android 9.0 Pie. It features a 6.41-inch full-HD+ (1080x2340 pixels) AMOLED display with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio and DCI-P3 colour gamuts that is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 6. The display comes with a waterdrop-style notch, that includes a three-in-one ambient light sensor, distance, and RGB sensor, along with a front facing camera. Powering the OnePlus 6T is the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor paired with 6GB/8GB RAM.
For optics, the smartphone comes with a dual rear camera setup with a primary 16 MP Sony IMX519 sensor that has f/1.7 aperture and 1.22-micron pixels, paired with a 20 MP Sony IMX376K sensor with f/1.7 aperture and 1-micron pixels accompanied with dual-LED flash. Towards the front is a 16 MP Sony IMX371 sensor with f/2.0 aperture and 1-micron pixels.
For connectivity, the device comes with 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802ac (dual-band, 2.4GHz and 5GHz), Bluetooth v5.0, NFC, GPS/ A-GPS, and a USB Type-C (v2.0) port. It gets a 3,700mAh battery on board with fast charge support (5V, 4A). that delivers a full day of power in 30 minutes of charge.
