The reason behind moving the event one day prior is because of Apple, as the company would be launching the new Apple iPad and Mac as well. OnePlus decided to reschedule after hours of discussion with the press contact as it thought that Apple would take away all the attention and overshadow OnePlus.
Despite the change in dates, the event will take place at the same venue i.e New York City and starts at 11 AM EDT (8:30 PM IST). The India launch will take place at- KDJW Stadium, inside Indira Gandhi Sports Complex, New Delhi.
Those who got the tickets for the event, but won't be able to make it due to event rescheduling, will be applicable for full refund of the ticket. In case you still plan on going to the event, it might incur costs.
Looking back at the OnePlus 6T specs that have leaked, the speculated specs include a 6.4-inch Optic AMOLED full-HD+ display and the smartphone is said to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor, in two configurations of 6GB RAM and 8GB RAM with 256GB storage.
What's known for sure is that the new OnePlus 6T would come with an in-display fingerprint sensor and will miss out on the 3.5mm headphone jack. It is likely to house a 3,700mAh battery and might have water and splash resistance to some extent.
